I know what it feels like to be stuck in the cycle of burnout, and how hard it can be to figure out a way to untangle yourself from what feels like a never-ending to-do list of responsibilities without a break in sight.

Everyone expects so much from you, and yet there never seems to be a chance for you to sit still, catch your breath, and slow down. Meanwhile, all these feelings of stress and anxiety bubble up underneath the surface, and you’re not sure how much longer you can keep pushing it down…

This retreat is your official permission slip to take the pause you NEED and deserve.

In order for you to show up to your life with that spark that makes you, YOU, sometimes all it takes is an intentional reset so you can take a step back, get clarity, and prioritize what matters most.

You do so much for everyone you love, and you deserve to feel at home in your body and mind. The practices of yoga & mindfulness will support you in re-connecting with movement that feels nourishing and deeply relaxing, regardless of how inflexible you think you are 😉

And I will be here to take care of all the little details, from organizing any activities you’d like to sign up for, to preparing all the details of your travel itinerary once you land in Puerto Vallarta, to connecting with you prior to the retreat to learn more about what you’re hoping to get out of it, seeing if there are any specific aspects of the yoga & mindfulness practice you’d like to dive more deeply into.

Consider me to be your yoga & mindfulness fairy godmother! Aside from leading the classes and workshops, I am here to literally take as many logistics & planning details off of your plate so you turn your brain off and truly experience the most relaxing & rejuvenating vacation possible.

By pre-planning & prioritizing a mid-year mental break, you are setting yourself up for success to counteract all the stress and tension that tends to build up throughout the year. 

It’s my hope that this experience will be one that reminds you just how good it can feel to slow down and prioritize YOU, and that you will continue to reap the benefits of this retreat through learnings, good memories, new friendships, and massive stress-relief long after it ends 🙂

Beginner-Friendly, Vinyasa, Restorative, Hatha & Yin

For 13 years, Aurora has studied and taught stress management through the integration of yoga & mindfulness principles. She is deeply passionate about translating frameworks into proactive, relevant and accessible practices to combat modern stressors. She loves to craft playful, accessible and unexpected movement experiences, rooted in experimentation & exploration. She encourages students to see their practice as a laboratory, inviting them to co-create & customize each pose. Her light-hearted humor, spunky playlists, and warm encouragement creates a welcoming & non-judgmental environment.
