1. Take three slow, conscious breaths

The kind where you actually feel your lungs.
Inhale through your nose, hold for a beat, exhale through your mouth. Repeat.

2. Put your bare feet on the earth

If you have access to grass, sand, or soil: stop reading. Step outside. Feel it.

One minute of grounding (yes, it’s a thing) can help regulate your nervous system and give you a little micro-dose of calm.

No barefoot beach nearby? Just open a window and feel the air. The key is presence.

3. Massage your hands

They do so much: typing, carrying, creating, holding.
Take a little oil or cream and give them some love.

4. Turn your face toward the sun

Close your eyes and let the light warm your skin.
Even on a cloudy day, this mini ritual wakes something up.

You don’t need a full sunbath. Just 60 seconds of stillness. Vitamin D and dopamine, delivered.
