Seattle-Based Laurie Sasser offers a Healing Slow Flow Yoga Retreat (Beginners Welcome!) infused with Chakra Balancing, Kundalini Breathwork, Meditation, Sound Bath and Cacao Ceremony. Laurie teaches Prana Vinyasa as taught by Shiva Rea and offers a rich nervous system experience that anchors all her classes. This retreat is an opportunity to slow down, step out of the frenetic pace of our daily lives and enjoy tuning inward. We deep dive into the chakras, the elements, and witness the body arrive and unfold. Across 7 days we are able to experience twice daily meditation touch points that permeate our nervous system.

If you haven’t yet experienced this consistency in meditation before, you will love the impact it has on your ability to feel deep peace. Nervous system regulation is a tool that Laurie uses often in her yoga offerings, particularly helping those with autoimmune conditions. Laurie teaches gentle yoga flows for people across all levels. Her retreats offer you a natural evolution of your yoga practice, creating deeper intimacy with yourself and noticing any limitations you place on yourself and on how you move through the world. 2026 will be Laurie’s third year returning to Xinalani!

Laurie's classes feel like a warm embrace, a weighted blanket, a deep exhale in these energetically volatile times. They are an opportunity access deeper states of peace within our nervous system, and experience the opportunity for clarity and expansion. Laurie teaches slow flow vinyasa infused with energetic work within the chakras, the seasons, and the elements of our direct environment. Laurie Sasser teaches Prana Vinyasa Slow Flow Yoga as taught by Shiva Rea and lives in Seattle, Washington. She is the creator of Yoga In The Park at the Bellevue Downtown Park and Seattle Urban Ashram.
