Context of the Situation

Since our last update, operations at Xinalani and Mixto have continued smoothly, with ongoing guest arrivals and retreat programs delivered as scheduled.

No further incidents have occurred since February 22, and the Puerto Vallarta Bay continues to operate normally across all transportation, airport, and hospitality services.

Booking Trends

Following the widespread media coverage in late February, we experienced a temporary shift in booking patterns — a natural response to the strong visual impact of the events.

While this affected short-term travel decisions for some guests, operations on the ground have remained fully stable.

As accurate information continues to circulate, we are seeing confidence gradually return among both retreat leaders and individual travelers.

On the Ground Today

Xinalani and Mixto continue to welcome guests each week, including international visitors, retreat groups, and returning guests. Life here continues as it always has — steady, grounded, and in rhythm with nature.

At Xinalani and Mixto, we continue to welcome guests from around the world each week. Retreats unfold as planned, in an atmosphere of ease, presence, and connection.

A Note on Perception vs Reality

As often happens, perception takes time to settle after widely shared images. What we witness here, day after day, is something much quieter: morning practices overlooking the ocean, shared meals, rest, movement, and reconnection.

For those arriving, the experience remains unchanged. We continue to hold space — with care, with intention, and with the same sense of calm that has always defined this place.
