Be Here: A Practice of Deep Presence & Joy
From June 2 to 7, 2025
“Be Here” was born out of a conversation between Audrey and Armen where they realized that modern life includes too many distractions which take us out of our physical, mental and emotional bodies and the present moment. Play, inquiry and utilizing the body as the vehicle for change will guide our practices during this retreat.
First step to committing to tangible change and presence is taking action.
Learning to flow and accepting the present moment at every turn, challenging or easy, can be cultivated by being connected to one’s own physical body, sensations and mental fluctuations. We can begin to let go of hindrances and worries about the past or future, allowing ourselves to experience life more deeply.
Audrey will facilitate Yin and Acro-Yoga which helps strengthen trust and communication within self and others. Yin emphasizes long-held postures that target the connective tissues, encouraging stillness and introspection. As we settle into each pose for several minutes, we cultivate an awareness of our breath and sensations, allowing thoughts and emotions to arise without judgment.
Armen will concentrate on introducing somatic awareness techniques and micro-movements, paired with therapeutic yoga, priming our body to receive new insight with mental clarity and a honed attention to interpret sensations, which can help you understand your emotions, thoughts and experiences more deeply.
Interrupt your daily grind with a restful getaway where you can rest and prioritize your well-being.
