HOW TO GET THERE:
Remember, your flight should not arrive later than 4:00 pm. On departure day, pick a flight that takes off after 11:00 am. For safety reasons, the boats do not depart when it’s dark.
Please find in the following link an example of our Transfer Instructions. We will send your boat schedule 72 hours before arrival.
Please be aware that after your flight has landed in Puerto Vallarta’s airport it may take you over 1 hour to get to la Terminal Marítima. Although the cab ride is no longer than 15 minutes, the process at cusoms may take over 45 minutes. So, your boat will be scheduled 1 hour after your flight has landed into PVR’s airport.
PESOS VS DOLLARS:
All your incidentals will be charged directly to your room, so you will pay your bill at the end of your stay. You can use CC, we accept Visa, Discover, and Master Card, cash is also accepted. Since all our pricing is based in USD we believe that it is not necessary to exchange money, but if you’re planning to visit the places around Xinalani like Quimixto’s Village, Yelapa or Puerto Vallarta, pesos would be a good option, although it is common to use USD in this area. Kindly note that there is no ATM nearby Xinalani.
TIPPING PRACTICES:
Tipping is very important in Mexico and it is much appreciated, however, it is still optional. At Xinalani we recommend leaving a minimum of $20 USD per guest per night at the end of your stay directly at our front desk. Xinalani’s management will distribute the gratuities to all the staff including those at the back operations.
You may also add a 15% tip to your consumptions at the Bar and at the Spa. They will be added to your room charges and you can pay them at check-out.
Salsa dance teachers, musicians, yoga instructors, and professional guides may appreciate a little reward in cash if their service is to your liking.

It is not necessary to bring an adapter/converter, outlets are the same as in the USA and Canada. Here is an image of our outlets.
